Los Angeles Kings coach Darryl Sutter said Monday that his team's series against the Sharks, which begins Tuesday at Staples Center, will continue with Game 2 on Thursday in L.A., Game 3 at HP Pavilion on Saturday and Game 4 either Monday or Tuesday in San Jose.

Nothing has been officially announced by the NHL other than the series beginning Tuesday in Los Angeles. The NHL will reveal the rest of the schedule dates after the seventh games in the Eastern Conference series between the Boston Bruins-Toronto Maple Leafs and New York Rangers-Washington Capitals are finished Monday night.

The Sharks completed their sweep of the Vancouver Canucks a week ago and didn't learn until Sunday night they would be facing the defending Stanley Cup champions in only the second playoff meeting between Los Angeles and San Jose.

The Sharks practiced Monday morning at Sharks Ice in San Jose and were flying to Los Angeles in the afternoon.
