ANTIOCH -- A man has been arrested in connection with the killing of a 22-year-old Antioch resident whose body was found behind an apartment complex here early Friday.

Police have not released the name, age or city of residence of the suspect who was booked Friday into the Martinez jail on suspicion of murder. Police were tipped off by a resident concerned about a suspicious person in the neighborhood near the Hudson Townhouse Manor apartments in the 3400 block of Hudson Court, where the body was found about 8 a.m. Friday.

The death was the city's fourth homicide this year.

The body was discovered near trash bins alongside a wrought-iron fence and a long driveway separating Hudson Townhouse Manor from a five-unit apartment building across the street on Fairfield Drive, police said.

Anyone with information regarding this case should call detectives at the Antioch Police Department at 925-779-6895.
