OAKLEY -- Police are asking the public's help in finding a suspect in a robbery this week at a Bank of America branch inside an Oakley supermarket.

The robbery happened inside the Lucky's at 2545 Main Street just before 3 p.m. Wednesday, police said. The man approached a teller and made a threat that he had a weapon, police said.

No weapons were found and nobody was injured. The man took an undisclosed amount of money and fled in a vehicle, police said. The make of the vehicle was not released because it could compromise the investigation, police said.

Police did not release a descrption of the suspect, but are asking that anyone who may have seen something at the store could contact the Oakley Police Department at 925-625-8855.
