ANTIOCH -- Crews are working to contain a grass fire that is burning near Marsh Creek and Deer Valley roads, according to Cal Fire officials.

The fire was reported shortly after 5 p.m. There have been no reports of injuries and no structures threatened.

The fire is nearly contained, and spread to roughly 15 acres, according to a Cal Fire spokesperson.

The cause of the fire is unknown.

The fire comes on the heels of a 26-acre brush fire that burned near Byron Airport earlier Thursday. That fire was contained at 4:23 p.m. The cause of that fire is also unknown.
