ANTIOCH -- Drivers that cut around town by using Somersville Road will have to find another route this week.
Somersville will be closed where it crosses under Highway 4, as the contractor working on widening the road will be removing the temporary supports from a new bridge that will carry road traffic and eBART trains, according to a Caltrans news release.
The stretch will be closed between the highway on-ramps from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. overnight Monday through Friday, and during the same times Saturday and Sunday if necessary.
Drivers will be detoured around the closure on Delta Fair and Century boulevards.
