ANTIOCH -- A 49-year-old Antioch man who was stabbed Wednesday lost a large amount of blood but is expected to survive, police said Thursday.

Antioch police were called to a strip mall on the 2900 block of Delta Fair Boulevard around 9:10 p.m. after the man staggered into a store seeking help, police said. Investigators determined the man was stabbed multiple times in the parking lot of the strip mall.

He was treated at the scene and then taken to a hospital by ambulance. He is expected to recover.

Police have no suspects at this time.
