LIVERMORE -- Power was restored to thousands of Livermore residents after two outages Friday morning, PG&E officials said.
The outages occurred at 9:45 a.m., affecting a total of about 3,663 customers, PG&E spokeswoman Tamar Sarkissian said.
The first outage impacted about 1,605 customers in the area south of Stanley Boulevard to Concannon Boulevard between El Caminito and Isabel Avenue, including areas south of Interstate 580 to Stanley Boulevard between Airway Boulevard and Kitty Hawk Road. Power was fully restored in that area at 10:47 a.m., Sarkissian said.
The second outage, which hit an area between East Stanley Boulevard, El Caminito and Holmes Street, impacted 2,058 customers, and power was restored there about 10:40 a.m., Sarkissian said.
While crews have confirmed that the two outages were related, their cause is under investigation, Sarkissian said.
