Police released this surveillance photo, from a gas station on Pacheco Boulevard, of a woman suspected in the June 6, 2013, robbery of a cab driver in Walnut Creek.

WALNUT CREEK -- Police on Wednesday released a surveillance picture of a woman suspected of robbing a cabdriver of his fares last week.

The woman, described by police as a white female, approximately 5 feet, 7 inches tall and 120 pounds with dirty blonde hair was recorded on video at a Unocal 76 gas station on Pacheco Boulevard, shortly after the robbery, police said.

Police said she had robbed the driver, using physical force, after he picked her up just before 8:30 a.m. on June 6, at Treat Boulevard and Bancroft Road.

An unsuspecting driver gave the woman a ride to Pacheco after the robbery, police said. She told the woman her name was Caitlin.

The suspect was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and black stretch pants and was carrying a dark backpack when she fled on foot down Bancroft toward the freeway, police said.
