MONDAY, June 3

  • SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY -- A Peralta Street resident reported that she was gone over the weekend and she believes her ex-husband broke into her home looking for documents.

  • FORGERY -- At 1:30 p.m. security at the Target Store on Eastshore reported a woman had paid for merchandise with a fraudulent check and fled in a brown Chevy van with a broken window and no license plate. Officers located the vehicle on Buchanan Street and arrested an Oakland woman for suspicion of forgery and attempted burglary.

  • DUMPING -- A caller reported that a person was illegally dumping items into the trash bin at the Royal Café on San Pablo Avenue. The caller said this is an ongoing issue and offered the address of the dumper and a video of the act.

    TUESDAY, June 4

  • DUI -- Officers at 2 a.m. arrested an Oakland man near Buchanan and Fillmore streets for suspicion of two counts of DUI.

  • VANDALISM -- Vandals cut a street tree in half on Kains Avenue.

  • THEFT -- At 4 p.m. a caller reported that a woman was seen taking mail from the home's mailbox an hour earlier and fleeing in a brown sedan when confronted.

  • AUTO THEFT & RECOVERY -- A Cornell Avenue resident reported that he had received a notification from Richmond police that they had found his car.

  • DISTURBANCE -- At 1:30 a.m. officers arrested a San Mateo man in the 800 block of San Pablo Avenue for suspicion of disorderly conduct.

  • DRUGS -- Officers arrested a San Pablo man near Portland and Spokane avenues at 1 p.m. for suspicion of drug possession.

    FRIDAY, June 7

  • THEFT -- Safeway reported at 9 a.m. that a man had just fled with bottles of liquor. Officers located and arrested him for being caught several times for the same offense.

  • THEFT -- Officers arrested two students, one from El Cerrito and one from Albany, on the 600 block of Key Route Boulevard for suspicion of petty theft at 11 a.m.

  • VANDALISM -- An Evelyn Avenue resident reported that the tires of the caller's car had been punctured three times in the past 24 hours.

    SATURDAY, June 8

  • NO LICENSE -- At 1 a.m. officers arrested an Antioch woman near Buchanan Street and Interstate 80 for suspicion of driving with a suspended license.
