PACIFICA -- Police are looking for a man who attempted to abduct a 10-year-old girl on Sunday.
The girl told police the man approached her at about 4:25 p.m. in the area of Beach Boulevard and Santa Rosa Avenue and said that she was coming with him, according to the Pacifica Police Department.
When the girl refused, the man tried to grab her, but she punched him and ran away, police said. The girl was not injured. The man was last seen running on Santa Rosa Avenue toward Palmetto Avenue. He was not captured.
The suspect is described as a white man, ranging in age from 30 to 40, about 6-feet tall, with a stocky build, brown hair and a tan complexion, according to police. He was wearing blue jeans, a red checkered shirt and black shoes.
