HAYWARD -- Police are searching for a man who pointed a gun at a car dealership employee inside business, threatened to kill him and then robbed him of cash.

No one was injured.

Officers responded at 12:41 p.m. on Friday to the 27000 block of Mission Boulevard for a report of an armed robbery at Ultimate Auto Sales, said Sgt. Mark Ormsby.

The suspect entered the business, pulled out a handgun and demanded money from a safe. The man then threatened to kill the clerk, took a videotape and the clerk's wallet. Ormsby said the robber then fled the store with about $300.

Police did not have a description of the suspect.
