OAKLAND -- Online farmers market and grocery delivery service LolaBee's Harvest is expanding its delivery area to include Oakland and Berkeley.

The Oakland-based startup also plans to add more delivery areas in the East Bay later this year, according to a news release. Until now, LolaBee's has offered delivery only to customers in San Francisco.

LolaBee's, the brainchild of entrepreneur Lauren Bass, is an online farmers market sourcing organic produce, pastured meats, dairy and eggs from farms within 250 miles of San Francisco. Groceries are home delivered in insulated boxes every Thursday, and customers can also arrange to pick up their groceries.

LolaBee's started in 2011 and has more than 200 regular customers in San Francisco.
