ANTIOCH -- A 54-year-old man was found stabbed to death Sunday, the city's second homicide in two days, authorities said.

The man, whose name was not released, was discovered with multiple stab wounds inside a home in the 500 block of Rodeo Circle around 3 a.m., Antioch police said. His death is being investigated as a homicide.

On Saturday at 9:30 a.m., officers were called to the intersection of Spanos Street and Sycamore Drive after reports of several shots being fired, police said.

Officers found a 42-year-old Antioch man shot in the head on his apartment porch in the 2100 block of Spanos Street. He later died in the hospital. His name has not been released.

The same man was shot in the leg, and a bullet grazed his back at the same location at 11 a.m. Friday, but he refused to talk to police about who shot him.

Police said the man has a criminal history but would not elaborate.
