San Rafael photographer David Peters is looking to the Internet to help finance his documentary on the Brazilian sex-trafficking of children.

Peters and former CNN news correspondent Matthew McFetridge are traveling to Fortaleza, Brazil this month to capture footage of three girls caught up in child prostitution and to tell the story of Lauren Lierly, a 23-year-old Californian who risks her life trying to help the children escape.

Peters has created a crowd-funding campaign on Indiegogo titled "From Heartbreak to Heaven" to raise $19,000 for the film.
