MORGAN HILL -- A 24-year-old Watsonville man was taken to a trauma center early Sunday with a puncture wound to his neck that police believe was sustained in a gang-related assault at Morgan Hill Bowl.
Police were called to the bowling alley at 650 Tennant Station Way shortly after 12:30 a.m. on reports of a fight. Arriving officers found that the involved parties had all fled the area, but were soon dispatched to the 18000 block of Peet Avenue, where they found the bleeding victim sitting in a car with some friends.
Witnesses told officers at the bowling alley that a fight had broken out that ended near the east doors of the business, where the victim was struck by an unknown object.
The attackers possibly fled in a red sedan and a black truck.
