NAPA -- Authorities say a popular Northern California music festival that's facing financial problems is now accused of handing out bad checks.

KGO-TV (http://bit.ly/1aW5Das ) reports police have received two complaints about checks from the BottleRock Napa Valley music festival that were returned for insufficient funds.

The Napa Police Department says the checks were written to a Rocklin security company and a food vendor.

Festival promoters are already facing lawsuits from other vendors and stagehands who say they have not been paid for their services.

This year's BottleRock was held in May and featured acts such as Kings of Leon, The Black Keys and Jane's Addiction.
