CONCORD -- The body of a man found floating face down in the water at Ellis Lake Park on Friday afternoon was identified as 66-year-old Concord resident Stephen Tracy, authorities said.

Officers arrived at the park about 4:20 p.m. after witnesses reported seeing the man fall into the lake, Lt. Tim Runyon said. The man was removed from the water with the help of the fire department, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

A cause of death had not been released by Monday afternoon, though police said Saturday they believed some sort of accident occurred. Foul play is not considered to be a factor in this case, Runyon said.
