PLEASANTON -- A teenager turned himself in Friday night after a weeks-long investigation into a fatal crash that killed a Dublin bicyclist in June, police said.

Pleasanton resident Cody Matthew Hall, 18, faces one count of felony vehicular manslaughter and one count of felony reckless driving in relation to the collision that killed 58-year-old Diana Hersevoort, who was riding her bike with her husband on Foothill Road, just south of Golden Eagle Way, on June 9 when she was struck.

Police said Hall was booked into Santa Rita Jail.

This is second time in the past week the Hall family has come across the Pleasanton Police Department's radar.

On July 17, Aaron Hall, the father of Cody Hall, was arrested after police found illegal weapons in his house while serving a search warrant on his son.

The 43-year-old Hall, a felon who is prohibited from possessing any firearms, had a gun safe in his garage, police said. During the search, officers also confiscated from the safe four Daytrana patches, an amphetaminelike medication used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, that Aaron Hall had without a proper prescription, according to court documents.

Aaron Hall's case remains under investigation.
