PITTSBURG -- A five-acre brush fire was contained Thursday after crews worked for an hour to control wind-fueled flames.

At 3:08 p.m., crews responded to a remote section of Willow Pass Road north of Parkside Drive for a one-alarm fire. As the flames spread, firefighters shut down the road between Pittsburg and Bay Point as they worked to contain the fire.

The blaze was contained at 4:04 p.m., and no structures were threatened.

No one was injured.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
