PITTSBURG -- A five-acre brush fire was contained Thursday after crews worked for an hour to control wind-fueled flames.
At 3:08 p.m., crews responded to a remote section of Willow Pass Road north of Parkside Drive for a one-alarm fire. As the flames spread, firefighters shut down the road between Pittsburg and Bay Point as they worked to contain the fire.
The blaze was contained at 4:04 p.m., and no structures were threatened.
No one was injured.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
