PLEASANTON -- An 18-year-old Pleasanton driver accused of hitting and killing a Dublin woman was arraigned on a murder charge and ordered held without bail by a judge Wednesday, police said.

Cody Matthew Hall, 18, appeared in Alameda County Superior Court for his arraignment in the death of Dublin resident Diana Hersevoort.

According to police, about 1 p.m. on June 9, Hall hit Hersevoort, 58, with his car as she was riding her bike with her husband on Foothill Road about a quarter-mile south of Golden Eagle Way.

Hall had previously been charged with one count of felony vehicular manslaughter and one count of felony reckless driving.
