PINOLE -- A man with an apparent foot fetish has been arrested for allegedly molesting a 9-year-old boy and taking video of his feet inside Target, police said.

Authorities say Gregory Paul Houchins, 32, approached the boy in the video game section of the Fitzgerald Drive store on Aug. 13, and lured the child to a nearby aisle, where he convinced him to take off his shoes and socks.

Houchins allegedly forced the boy to touch his genitalia while taking video and pictures of the boy's feet, according to police. He then took the boy to the store bathroom, locked the stall and told the child, "I'm not going to do anything to you, I'm just going to show you something," police said. "Something" was his gray underwear.

Police were called after the boy ran out of the bathroom and found his parents.

Houchins was arrested two days later after he returned to the store and was recognized by Target employees. Witnesses told police that Houchins, who works at Burlington Coat Factory in Pinole, has been known to ask people to take pictures of their feet. He was arrested on several charges is currently being held at West Contra Costa County Detention Facility in Richmond on $5.1 million bail. He was on parole for robbery at the time of his arrest.

Pinole police are asking anyone with additional information on Houchins to call 510-724-8950.
