OAKLAND -- Police are investigating the city's 75th homicide this year after a man was shot and killed Thursday night in East Oakland.

The man was shot in the 10600 block of Topanga Drive at 7:20 p.m. and died at the scene about 15 minutes later, police said. No one else was injured.

No one has been arrested and a motive in the shooting was not immediately known.

The man's name, age and city or residence was not immediately available from police.

There is a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the shooter.
