OAKLAND -- A man stabbed to death in East Oakland on Thursday was identified by police as Casey Walker, 26.
Police said Walker had addresses in Fairfield and Oakland.
The stabbing happened about 2:20 p.m. at a house in 1900 block of 73rd Avenue. Walker died a short time later, about 3:05 p.m. at a hospital. Police still don't have a motive and for the killing and no arrests have been made.
The suspect fled on foot and was described as black, about 35 years old, 5 feet 9 and 175 pounds with long dreadlocks. He was wearing a black hooded jacket.
Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering up to $10,000 in reward money for information leading to the arrest of the suspect. Anyone with information should call police at 510-238-3821 or a tip line at 510-773-2805.
