Three women in a SUV that struck two parked cars were transported for non-life threatening injuries this morning in Berkeley, a police spokeswoman said.

Berkeley police responded to the collision in the 1500 block of Alcatraz Avenue at 12:53 a.m., Officer Jennifer Coats said.

Police do not know if drugs or alcohol played a role in the collision, according to Coats.

Streets in the area were reopened as of 2:25 a.m., she said.
