ANTIOCH -- A pizza restaurant and bank were robbed about six hours apart on Monday in unrelated incidents, police said.

Two men entered the Pizza Guys Restaurant at 1100 Sycamore Drive around 10:39 p.m., and pulled a gun on one of the clerks, Antioch police Sgt. Mike Hulsey said. The clerk cooperated, and the two men fled with an undetermined amount of cash.

That robbery came hours after another man entered the Bank of the West at 5009 Lone Tree Way around 4:40 p.m. and also demanded cash, Hulsey said. That man also fled with cash, but police were unable to confirm whether he used a gun during the robbery, he said.

No injuries were reported at the restaurant or bank, Hulsey said. Police said the two robberies are not related.

Police are seeking help from the public to solve both cases and anyone with information is urged to call Antioch police at 925-778-2441.
