ANTIOCH -- Fire crews on Sunday put out a blaze that engulfed a home, a fire captain said.

The fire broke out in the 1200 block of Sunset Drive around 1:40 p.m., said Capt. Robert Marshall. Crews arrived to find "intense" flames coming from inside the house. A fence adjacent to the dwelling also burned, he said.

Crews declared the fire under control just before 2 p.m., and said a search of the aftermath revealed that nobody was trapped inside, Marshall said. It was not known immediately how many people lived there, if any, Marshall said.
