CONCORD -- Detectives were investigating the scene where a man's body was found inside a vehicle in the parking lot of a senior activities center on Monday.

The body was located in the driver's seat of a four-door passenger car in the parking lot of the Concord Senior Center, located at 2727 Parkside Circle. Detectives were dusting for fingerprints on both sides of the car.

The man's body was slumped toward the passenger's seat when he was found.

It was not known immediately when the body was discovered. Police at the scene did not release any information about the person's age, gender, identity or apparent cause of death.

Deputies from the Contra Costa Coroner's Office took them body away just before 2:25 p.m.
