PLEASANT HILL -- A team of students from Campolindo High in Moraga has won the regional East Bay Academic Decathlon for the third year in a row.

The Contra Costa County Office of Education, which sponsors the annual contest, announced the victory for Campolindo's "red" team Thursday. Dublin High, which finished fifth overall, had the top-scoring team from Alameda County.

Both teams will represent their counties in the state Academic Decathlon next month in Sacramento. Twelve teams from 11 schools participated, with Campolindo fielding two teams.

Individual team members received the following awards: Top scoring individual, varsity -- Vikram Bhaduri, Campolindo red; Top scoring individual, scholastic -- Daylon Srinivasan, Acalanes; Top scoring individual, honor -- Marina Han, Campolindo red.
