ROLLINGWOOD -- A man wounded in a drive-by shooting in an unincorporated part of Contra Costa County was in stable condition Wednesday at a hospital, and Contra Costa Sheriff's deputies were investigating, a spokesman for the agency said.
Sheriff's deputies were called to the 2800 block of Rollingwood Drive around 6 p.m. on Tuesday, spokesman Jimmy Lee said. The area where the shooting occurred is known as Rollingwood, an unincorporated county area near San Pablo comprised of approximately two-tenths of a square mile.
Arriving deputies found the 32-year-old man on the ground, Lee said. Paramedics treated him, and ambulance took him to Highland Hospital in Oakland.
Richmond police and Sheriff's deputies were unable to find the vehicle from where the shots came, and authorities are asking the public for help. Anyone with any information is urged to call 866-846-3592 or email email@example.com.
