Two San Joaquin County men were arrested on allegations they spraypainted a historic battery in the Marin Headlands.
Luigi Ivan Llamas, 21, of Tracy and Dorion Wilson, 19, of Mountain House were booked into Marin County Jail on suspicion of vandalism. Charges were filed by the district attorney's office on Monday.
The incident occurred Friday afternoon at Battery Wagner, where park rangers approached a group of people suspected of spraying the structure, said Alexandra Picavet, spokeswoman for the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.
The suspects started running, and rangers arrested Llamas and Wilson. A woman found about 45 minutes was detained and released pending further investigation. A fourth possible suspect escaped, Picavet said
