SAN RAMON -- A San Ramon man was arrested Thursday after he allegedly cut a teenager with a knife during a fight over a stolen e-cigarette.

Police said 20-year-old Alexey Nikolskiy confronted some teenagers about the theft, demanding they return his e-cigarette, said San Ramon Sgt. David White. Nikolskiy said the e-cigarette was supposedly stolen about a week ago. The teens complained to an unidentified older sibling, who then decided to meet Nikolskiy at a park on Watermill Road to fight, White added.

During the altercation, Nikolskiy took out a knife and cut the teenage boy on his arm. The victim was taken to Kaiser Walnut Creek with non-life threatening injuries. Nikolskiy has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon and causing bodily injury.
