OAKLAND -- A man is in stable condition after being shot Saturday afternoon in West Oakland.
Police received reports of shots fired at 12:56 p.m. at 16th Street and Linden Street. They arrived and found a man bleeding from multiple gunshot wounds, said Officer J. Moore. The victim, whose name is not being released at this time, was transported to a nearby hospital and is in stable condition, Moore said.
There may have been a car that drove away after the shooting but police have no description and are investigating.
