The following calls were among those handled by the Brentwood police June 8-13 according to information provided by the Police Department.

June 8

DUI accident: At 12:03 a.m. someone involved in a accident on Fairview Avenue and Sand Creek Road was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Stolen vehicle: At 7 a.m. a vehicle was reported stolen from Madrone Place.

Burglary: At 7:06 p.m. it was reported a residence on West Country Club Drive was burglarized.

June 9

Drugs: At 1:01 a.m. someone contacted while riding a bike on Brentwood Boulevard was arrested for suspected possession of methamphetamine.

Burglary: At 5:25 p.m. it was reported a vehicle on Mericrest Street was burglarized.

Warrant: At 1:03 p.m. someone was arrested on Shady Willow Lane for an outstanding warrant.

June 10

Drugs: At 1:10 a.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Diablo Way fled from police. Subject was later found and arrested for suspicion of being under the influence of drugs.

Accident: At 5:05 a.m. a minor injury accident occurred on Regent and Baldwin drives.

Drugs: At 8:50 p.m. someone was arrested for assault and brandishing a weapon on Pelican Street.

Drugs: at 1:21 a.m. someone contacted during a disturbance on Sycamore Avenue was arrested for suspicion of being under the influence of drugs.

Vandalism: At 11:38 officers responded to Fairview Avenue for a report of vandalism at a vacant residence.

Shoplifting: At 12:39 p.m. two juveniles and one adult were arrested for shoplifting at a business on Sand Creek Road.

June 12

Accident: At 9:54 a.m. someone ran a red light on Balfour Road and Eagle Rock Way colliding with another vehicle, striking the center median and hitting several trees before coming to a stop. No injuries were reported.

Fraud: At 4:13 p.m. two males used counterfeit $20 bills to purchase yogurt at a business on Sand Creek Road.

Assault: At 4:50 p.m. a juvenile was arrested for assault following a verbal argument on Ashford Place.

June 13

Theft: At 2:38 a.m. a female reported her estranged husband took property from her residence on Silverwood while she was gone.

Burglary: At 6:47 a.m. it was reported a vehicle on Stonewood Court was burglarized resulting in the loss of stereo equipment.

Suspicious person: At 11:48 a.m. individuals were approached and offered candy by a male in his mid-1960s while in the parking lot of Starbucks on Sand Creek Road.
