The following calls were among those handled by the Brentwood police Aug. 6-10, according to information provided by the Police Department.
Aug 6 Disturbance: At 12:28 a.m. officers responded to Village Drive for a report of a domestic disturbance. Burglary: At 11:22 a.m. it was reported a residence on Campanello Drive was burglarized resulting in the loss of jewelry and packed moving boxes. Burglary: At 4:51 p.m. it was reported a residence was burglarized on Cottonwood Commons.
Aug. 7 Theft: At 6:30 p.m. someone stole an iPhone 4S from a business on Lone Tree Way and fled toward Antioch. Verbal dispute: At 8:28 p.m. officers responded to Dainty Avenue for the report of neighbors in heated verbal dispute. Theft: At 9:59 p.m. it was reported a bike was stolen from an open garage at a residence on Las Flores Drive.
Aug. 8 Public intoxication: At 7:15 a.m. officers responded to a verbal dispute in the parking lot of a business on Brentwood Boulevard. One subject was arrested for public intoxication, resisting arrest and threatening officers. Theft: At 9:16 a.m. it was reported personal items were stolen from a vehicle left in an open garage at a residence on Lillian Street. Accident: At 2:33 p.m. a minor injury accident occurred on Central Boulevard and Minnesota Avenue. Two passengers were taken to a hospital for minor injuries.
Aug. 9 Felony vandalism: At 4:13 a.m. two juveniles were caught pouring soap and swimming in the Shadow Lakes fountain on East Country Club Boulevard and Balfour Road. The soap caused the fountain to shut down. Both were arrested and released on a juvenile affidavit. DUI: At 5:03 a.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code on Fairview Avenue and Sand Creek Road was arrested when determined to be driving with a blood-alcohol level of .08 percent or more. Theft: At 9:30 a.m. it was reported an iPad was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Canfield Court.
Aug. 10 Accident: At 6:38 p.m. a hit-and-run accident occurred on Sycamore Drive. Burglary: At 9:36 p.m. it was reported a residence on Arlington Way was burglarized. Warrant: At 9:45 p.m. someone contacted on Torrey Pines Drive was arrested when determined to have a non-citable felony warrant.
