The following calls were among those handled by the Brentwood police Sept. 5-9, according to information provided by the Police Department.

Sept. 5

  • Drugs: At 10:52 a.m. a male contacted during a warrant service on Gregory Lane was arrested when found to be in possession of suspected heroin and hypodermic needles.

  • DUI accident: At 1:34 p.m. someone involved in a hit-and-run accident on Roper Circle was later arrested for suspicion of operating a vehicle under the influence of prescription medication.

  • Theft: At 6:44 p.m. someone was arrested at a business on Lone Tree Way for petty theft.

    Sept. 6

  • Drugs: At 3:28 a.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Lone Tree Way was arrested for suspicion of being under the influence of a central nervous system stimulant.

  • Drugs: At 7:23 p.m. a male was arrested during a parole search on Orchard Drive for suspected cocaine and Ketamine possession. Subject was also found in possession of ammunition.

  • Drugs: At 9:44 p.m. someone contacted on Brentwood Boulevard and Spruce Street was arrested for suspected drug possession.

    Sept. 7

  • Burglary: At 5:55 p.m. it was reported a residence on Manzanillo Way was burglarized.

  • Assault: At noon juveniles engaged in a physical altercation at La Paloma High School were arrested.

  • Fraud: At 12:29 p.m. a female resident on Piccadilly Lane reported someone used her personal information to open a cell phone account.

    Sept. 8

  • DUI: At 12:38 a.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Brentwood Boulevard and Sand Creek Road was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

  • Disturbance: At 12:58 p.m. officers responded to Fruitwood Commons and Grovewood Loop for the report of a disturbance.

  • DUI accident: At 5:56 p.m. someone stopped for a traffic violation on Dainty Avenue sideswiped a vehicle while pulling off the roadway. Subject was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

    Sept. 9

  • Warrant: At 3:01 a.m. someone contacted on Diablo Way and Birch Street was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

  • Felony vandalism: At 9:04 a.m. it was reported tiles and water pipes were damaged on the roof of a gym at a school on Minnesota Avenue.

  • Burglary: At 9:22 a.m. it was reported a business on Brentwood Boulevard was burglarized.
