The following calls were among those handled by the Brentwood police Sept. 10-14, according to information provided by the Police Department.
Sept. 10 DUI: At 1:18 a.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Brentwood Boulevard and Village Drive was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Stolen vehicle: At 3:51 a.m. a vehicle was reported stolen from a residence on Third Street. Suspicious circumstances: At 1:38 p.m. it was reported an elderly male was taken to two ATMs in Brentwood where money was withdrawn. The money was handed over to several individuals in a parking lot. The incident is under investigation.
Sept. 11 Burglary: At 1:58 a.m. it was reported a vehicle on Second Street was burglarized. Vandalism: At 3:59 p.m. juveniles were arrested for suspicion of drilling a large hole in the roof of a school on American Avenue causing several thousand dollars worth of damage. Drugs: At 9:23 p.m. someone consensually contacted on Sand Creek Road was arrested for suspicion of being under the influence of a central nervous system stimulant. Subject was also found in possession of suspected methamphetamine.
Sept. 12 Assault: At 1:18 p.m. a male became enraged when a roadway worker did not allow access through a cone zone on Griffith Lane. Driver proceeded through and struck another roadway worker causing injury to an elbow. The driver fled the scene and was later arrested at his residence. Theft: At 4:33 p.m. it was reported someone forced entry into a vending machine at a business on Second Street taking an unknown amount of money. Assault: At 8:23 p.m. someone was assaulted on Brentwood Boulevard and Second Street. Victim was punched in the face.
Sept. 13 Trespassing: At 5:06 a.m. someone was arrested on Minnesota Avenue for trespassing and providing a false name to a police officer. Theft: At 11:45 a.m. someone was arrested at a carwash for suspicion of stealing from a vehicle. Items were later located at a pawnshop in Antioch. Assault: At noon juveniles were arrested at a school on Second Street for engaging in mutual combat.
Sept. 14 Weapon: At 12:32 a.m. someone stopped for vehicle code violations on Balfour Road was arrested for suspicion of possessing a loaded handgun. Theft: At 12:36 p.m. someone was arrested at a business on Lone Tree Way for suspicion of stealing several items from a business. Public intoxication: At 8 p.m. a male was arrested on Second Street for suspicion of being intoxicated in public.
