The following calls were among those handled by the Brentwood police Oct. 7-11, according to information provided by the Police Department.
Oct. 7
DUI: At 1:29 a.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Walnut Boulevard was arrested when determined to be driving with a blood-alcohol level of .08 percent or more. Theft: At 4:35 p.m. a catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on Whitby Lane. Drugs: At 10:50 p.m. someone stopped on Great Falls Drive was arrested for suspicion of being under the influence of a prescription sleeping medication. Oct. 8
DUI: At 1:44 a.m. police responded to Sand Creek Road for the report of a dispute on the side of the roadway. One individual was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Drugs: At 3:30 p.m. someone was arrested on Guthrie Lane for suspicion of possessing approximately 30 pounds of marijuana. Dispute: At 6:46 p.m. someone involved in a domestic dispute on Carnegie Lane was arrested when found to be a parolee at large. Oct. 9
Warrant: At 7:43 a.m. someone was arrested on Balfour Road for an outstanding warrant. Parolee at large: Someone contacted on Walnut Boulevard and Dainty Avenue was taken into custody when found to be a parolee at large. Theft: Officers responded to a business on Lone Tree Way for a report of shoplifting. Oct. 10
License violation: At 1:14 a.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation was arrested when found to be driving with a driving with a suspended license. Burglary: At 7:50 a.m. a residence on Brentwood Boulevard was burglarized. Entry was made through the front door. Stolen vehicle: At 7:54 p.m. a vehicle was reported stolen from a residence on Griffith Lane. Oct. 11
License violation: At 2 a.m. someone contacted during a vehicle stop on Lone Tree and Jeffery ways was arrested when found to be driving with a suspended license due to a prior DUI conviction. Burglary: At 2:20 a.m. it was reported someone shattered the front glass door of a business on Brentwood Boulevard and stole the cash register. Accident: At 2:15 p.m. a noninjury accident occurred on Brentwood Boulevard and Lone Tree Way. -- Nan Hargis
