The following calls were among those handled by the Brentwood police Oct. 12-16, according to information provided by the Police Department.

Oct. 12

  • Theft: At 8:31 a.m. it was reported catalytic converters were stolen from two vehicles parked at a residence on Heartland Court. Estimated loss was $350.

  • Warrant: At 5:18 p.m. a male contacted on Second Street was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

  • Drugs: At 6:22 p.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Garin Parkway was arrested for suspected methamphetamine possession.

    Oct. 13

  • DUI: At 12:09 a.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Brentwood Boulevard and Second Street was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

  • Vandalism: At 3:51 p.m. a resident on Christian Way reported someone threw eggs at the residence. No damage was reported.

  • Theft: At 4:30 p.m. someone was arrested at a grocery store on Lone Tree Way for stealing a cart full of items.

    Oct. 14

  • Theft: At 12:19 p.m. it was reported a portable table saw was stolen from the bed of a truck on Lone Tree Way.

  • Robbery: At 12:41 p.m. a female was robbed of a cell phone while sitting in the patio area of a business on Brentwood Boulevard.

  • Bio hazard: At 3:30 p.m. Contra Costa Hazmat responded to Bristol Court and Auburn Road to pick up an abandoned 55-gallon drum filled with petroleum jelly.

    Oct. 15

  • Drugs: At 6:03 a.m. someone contacted on Brentwood and Central boulevards was arrested for suspicion of being under the influence of a central nervous system stimulant.

  • Fraud: At 12:58 p.m. a resident on Redhaven Street reported a stolen credit card was used in Concord to make two purchases.

  • Drugs: At 6:36 p.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Lone Tree Way was arrested for suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Subject was on probation.

    Oct. 16

  • License violation: At 2:24 a.m. someone stopped for vehicle code violations on Second Street was arrested when determined to be driving with a suspended license due to a prior DUI conviction. A passenger was arrested for an outstanding warrant and suspected drug possession.

  • Drugs: At 1:39 p.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Sand Creek Road and Garin Parkway was arrested for suspected drug possession.

  • Theft: At 3:33 p.m. a male at a residence on Healing Rock Court reported the rear window of his vehicle was smashed. A briefcase containing an iPad was stolen.
