The following calls were among those handled by the Brentwood police Nov. 14-18, according to information provided by the Police Department.
Nov. 14 Warrants: At 2:08 a.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Brentwood Boulevard and Homecoming Way was arrested when found to have active arrest warrants. Attempted robbery: At 9:30 a.m. juveniles were arrested on Minnesota Avenue for attempting to rob someone while armed with a knife. Accident: At 11 a.m. a noninjury accident occurred on Sand Creek Road.
Nov. 15 Accident: At 3:09 a.m. officers responded to a misdemeanor hit-and-run accident on Brentwood Boulevard. Petty theft: At 11:35 a.m. someone was arrested for petty theft at Kohl's on Lone Tree Way. Drugs: At 5 p.m. a juvenile was arrested on Logan Lane for suspicion of being under the influence and possession of drugs.
Nov. 16 Burglary: At 1:51 a.m. it was reported a residence on Caraway Court was burglarized resulting in the loss of a computer, camera and cell phone. Warrant: Someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Lone Tree Way was arrested when determined to have an outstanding outside warrant. DUI: Someone stopped for vehicle code violations on Brentwood Boulevard and Technology way was arrested when determined to be driving with a blood-alcohol level of .08 percent or more.
Nov. 17 Speeding: At 7:50 a.m. someone stopped on Marsh Creek Road was cited for driving over the speed limit and driving without a license. Theft: At 1:01 p.m. a male resident on Village Drive and Susan Street reported a lawnmover was stolen from the bed of his pickup truck. Weapon: At 10:35 p.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Garin Parkway and Sycamore Avenue was arrested when found to be in possession of a loaded firearm.
Nov. 18 Assault: At 2:21 a.m. officers responded to Grant Street for the report of an assault. Victim suffered an eye injury. Theft: At 10:29 a.m. a resident on O'Hara Avenue reported a stereo valued at $400 was stolen from an unlocked vehicle. DUI: At 11:27 p.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Balfour Road was arrested when determined to be driving with a blood-alcohol level of .08 percent or more.
