The following calls were among those handled by the Brentwood police Nov. 30-Dec. 3, according to information provided by the Police Department.
Nov. 30 Brandishing: At 2:10 p.m. someone was arrested on Sherwood Drive for brandishing a baseball bat during a verbal altercation. The person used the bat to smash the victim's rear vehicle window. Burglary: At 6:43 p.m. it was reported that a residence on Hallmark Way was burglarized, resulting in the loss of a video game system and games. Malicious vandalism: At 9:34 p.m., a male resident on Pebble Beach Drive reported that someone blew up the mail box with an explosive device.
Dec. 1 Domestic disturbance: At 10:28 a.m. officers responded to a report for two individuals involved in a verbal altercation on Sawyer Way. It was the second incident in 24 hours. Theft: At 12:34 p.m. a juvenile was arrested on suspicion of petty theft at a business on Lone Tree Way. DUI: At 9:35 p.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Brentwood Boulevard was arrested when determined to be driving with a blood-alcohol level of .08 percent or more.
Dec. 2 Fraud: At 12:36 p.m. the owner of a business on Lone Tree Way reported receiving counterfeit currency for payment of goods. Malicious vandalism: At 7:59 p.m. the front window of a vehicle was reported shattered by an unknown person on Lone Tree Way. DUI: At 9:07 p.m. someone contacted on Thomas Road was arrested on suspicion of being intoxicated and under the influence of marijuana.
Dec. 3 Weapon: At 3:08 p.m. a student was arrested on suspicion of carrying the replica of a handgun in his waist band at a school on Minnesota Avenue. Drugs: At 3:03 p.m. an individual on probation was arrested during a verbal dispute on Second Street on suspicion of being under the influence of a central nervous system stimulant. Robbery: At 3:38 p.m. someone was robbed of a cell phone on Central Boulevard by a person brandishing a knife.
Dec. 4 Theft: At 1:49 p.m. two females were arrested on suspicion of petty theft for stealing a camera from a business on Lone Tree Way. Fraud: At 5:49 p.m. a resident on Brentwood Boulevard reported that someone stole personal information to open two credit card accounts. Malicious vandalism: At 11:43 p.m. officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance on Almanor Street where one involved party smashed the window of a communally-owned vehicle.
