The following calls were among those handled by the Brentwood police Jan. 11-15, according to information provided by the Police Department.
Jan. 11
DUI: At 12:29 a.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation was arrested on Pippo Avenue when determined to be driving with a blood-alcohol level of .08 percent or more. Petty theft: At 6:28 p.m. someone stole items from a business on Sand Creek Road. Subject was arrested for shoplifting and for an outstanding warrant. Burglary: At 10:25 p.m. a vehicle was burglarized on Sand Creek Road. Take was a backpack.Jan. 12
Accident: At 1:24 a.m. someone involved in a traffic accident on O'Hara Avenue was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Trespassing: At 9:44 a.m. a male was arrested on Griffith Lane for trespassing. Burglary: At 2:21 p.m. a residence was reported burglarized in on Somersby Way. A window was broken to gain entry.Jan. 13
DUI: At 12:13 a.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Shoplifting: At 5:23 p.m. someone was arrested for shoplifting at a business on Sand Creek Road. Weapons violation: At 5:29 p.m. someone contacted during a traffic stop on Flowering Plum Place was arrested when found to be in possession of a concealed firearm. Subject was also found to be on parole.Jan. 14
Outside assist: At 8:02 a.m. someone attempting to capture a loose dog running in and out of traffic on Fairview Avenue was bitten. Animal services responded taking the dog into custody for quarantine. Drugs: At 10:12 a.m. officers responded to a business on Balfour Road for an individual trying to use a fake prescription to obtain narcotics. Burglary: At 9:28 p.m. it a residence was reported burglarized on Riviera Court. Entry was made by breaking a rear glass sliding door.Jan. 15
Burglary: At 12:46 a.m. it was reported a residence was burglarized and ransacked on Berkshire Lane. Entry was made by shattering a kitchen window. License violation: At 12:04 p.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Sunset Road was arrested when found to be driving with a suspended license due to a prior DUI conviction.Weapons violation: At 1:30 p.m. someone was arrested on Emory Oak Court for discharging a firearm within a school zone.
