The following calls were among those handled by the Brentwood police Jan. 22-26, according to information provided by the Police Department.

Jan. 22

  • Theft: At 1 p.m. a male reported his bicycle was stolen from the parking lot of FoodMaxx on Sand Creek Boulevard.

  • Drugs: At 3:05 p.m. someone contacted on American Avenue was arrested for suspected drug possession.

  • Grand theft: At 2:46 p.m. it was reported golf cubs, bag and supplies were taken from a golf cart at a location on Summerset Drive.

  • Recovery: At 8:02 a.m. a vehicle stolen out of Pittsburg was recovered on Gregory Lane.

  • Embezzlement: At 2 p.m. someone was arrested for embezzlement from a business on Balfour Road. A total of $700 was taken over a course of three months.

  • Accident: At 5:23 p.m. officers responded to a misdemeanor hit-and-run accident on Quiet Cable Court.

    Jan. 24

  • Assault: At 8:22 a.m. a male was struck in the face on Second Street causing a laceration to the upper lip. Victim's parents declined further action.

  • Vandalism: At 10:36 a.m. it was reported the retaining wall on Kirkman Road was defaced with spray paint.

    Jan. 25

  • DUI: At 12:09 a.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Sand Creek Road was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

  • Burglary: At 8:04 p.m. it was reported a residence on Arezzo Street was burglarized. Entry was made through an unlocked door.

  • Warrant: At 11:24 p.m. someone stopped for a traffic violation was arrested when found to have a $35,000 felony warrant out of Concord.

    Jan. 26

  • DUI: At 1:26 a.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation was arrested on Central Boulevard for suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

  • Burglary: At 2:16 a.m. someone broke the glass on the front window of a business on Balfour Road, entered and took the cash register filled with approximately $650.

  • Accident: At 3:49 p.m. officers responded to Lone Tree Way where someone hit a light pole and fled the scene before police arrived. Subject was later found and arrested.
