H&M will open its big new store in San Jose retail complex Santana Row on Sept. 27, the clothing retailer said.

The new H&M location is in a 27,000-square-foot space that once was occupied by a Borders bookstore. The store is triple the size of the retailer's current store in Santana Row.

The new store will offer collections for men, girls and boys, with separate "store within store" sections for accessories, lingerie, maternity and sports apparel, along with the full women's collection that H&M carried at the original location.

To celebrate the opening day of the new store, H&M will offer the first 200 customers in line an H&M T-shirt and access to a fashion pass valued at $10 to $300, along with other opening offers.
