The store, Microsoft's fifth in the Bay Area, will open on April 25 with a grand opening ceremony starting at 11:30 a.m. The festivities will continue on April 27, when the store hosts country singer and TV personality Blake Shelton for a concert. The doors open at noon.
The Redmond, Wash.-based company has expanded its store offerings since the release of Windows 8 and the Surface tablet last year. Employees offer in-store training and demos of Windows 8, and will personalize music and email settings on a customer's new Surface or laptop.
