Livermore Valley Hike 1: Southeastern Hills
Ready to explore the Livermore Valley's beautiful wineries on foot? Be prepared for some moderate up-and-down walking in this picturesque part of the Livermore wine region, where vineyards and open space predominate.
These wineries are on or near Greenville Road, which turns into Crane Ridge Road at the end. Wineries easily spotted from the road or have good signage. Starting at Charles R Vineyards is recommended, then pick and choose from among the possibilities. An appointment is required at Wood Family Vineyards, which is on a private road; visitors will need a gate code.
