Leigh wins four straight to jump into thick of Mt. Hamilton baseball race

Up to just a couple of weeks ago, no one was saying too much about Leigh when discussing the race for the baseball title in the Mt. Hamilton Division of the Blossom Valley Athletic League. Sure, the race was tight so no one could really pick a favorite. But even if they had, it wouldn't have been the Longhorns. After all, Leigh was struggling with just three wins in their first seven games of the league campaign. Fast forward to Tuesday afternoon, though, and the Longhorns are 7-4 and right in the thick of the race for the division championship.
