BRENTWOODVandalism suspected in damage of city monumentAn allegedly deliberate act of vandalism over the weekend has caused significant damage to a monument sign at a key entrance to downtown Brentwood shortly before the grand opening ceremony for the new Civic Center on Saturday.  
 
The East County Performing Arts Center recently performed at the Primetime Dance Competition at Chabot College in Hayward, earning titles in every age division and many top placements.  
 
While there wasn't any face painting or cotton candy, this festival was still loads of fun.Recently held at Carmen Dragon elementary, the math festival provided an array of geometry activities.
