INJURY UPDATE: Cal -- DE Trevor Guyton (undisclosed) is doubtful. TE Jarrett Sparks (ankle) is questionable. ILB Mike Mohamed (toe), WR Keenan Allen (ankle), OLB Dave Wilkerson (ankle) are probable (Note: Cal coach Jeff Tedford is no longer disclosing injuries to the media). Arizona -- WR Juron Criner (toe) is questionable.

STATS THAT MATTER: Arizona ranks third in the nation in total defense (220.3 yards allowed per game). ... Cal RB Shane Vereen (108 ypg) and WR Marvin Jones (7.0 rpg) lead the Pac-10 in rushing and receiving, respectively.

MATCHUP TO WATCH: Cal's offensive line vs. Arizona's defensive line. The Wildcats' aggressive defensive front, led by disruptive defensive ends Brooks Reed and Ricky Elmore, could tee off on the Bears if they force them into passing situations.
