THE LUCKY 13

Here's a look at the 13 players from Bay Area teams invited to the NFL scouting combine in Indianapolis this week. Heights and weights taken from 2011 team rosters.

CAL

P Bryan Anger (6-4, 208): The top-rated punter in the draft just might be the Bears' best pro prospect.

SS Sean Cattouse (6-3, 218): Needs a 40-yard dash time in mid-4.5s to avoid falling out of the draft.

DE Trevor Guyton (6-3, 280): Solid player whose draft value is elevated by importance of position.

WR Marvin Jones (6-3, 202): Projected as slot receiver because of solid footwork and reliable hands.

LB Mychal Kendricks (6-0, 240): Pac-12 defensive player of the year has average speed and height.

OT Mitchell Schwartz (6-6, 318): Early-round prospect improved his stock in Senior Bowl workouts.

STANFORD

G David DeCastro (6-5, 310): Top interior offensive line prospect will likely be picked in the teens.

TE Coby Fleener (6-6, 244): Could sneak into the first round because of combination of size and speed.

SS Delano Howell (5-11, 198): Punishing hitter who lacks elite athleticism and might not be drafted.

QB Andrew Luck (6-4, 235): Will run, lift and interview; the throwing comes next month at Stanford.

OT Jonathan Martin (6-6, 304): No. 3 tackle prospect after USC's Matt Kalil and Iowa's Riley Reiff.

WR Chris Owusu (6-2, 200): Should run a blazing 40-yard dash, but focus will be on his head.

SAN JOSE STATE

SS Duke Ihenacho (6-1, 205): The No. 4 strong safety prospect projected as fourth-round pick.
