LOS ANGELES - Half of the former rap duo Kid 'n Play was arrested at his Los Angeles home today on a warrant charging him with driving under the influence of alcohol or a drug, police said.

Christopher "Kid" Reid, 47, was arrested at his Los Angeles home on a warrant charging him with driving under the influence of alcohol or a drug, according to published and broadcast reports.

It was unclear when or where Reid was arrested. The Bronx-born Reid, whose rap heyday came in the late 1980s and early 1990s, also has appeared in television shows such as "Martin" and "Sister, Sister." He also works as a standup comedian.
